Remember when you were younger and you had that one neighbor, maybe an older man/woman who were arrogant and possessive of their property. The ones that yelled at you just for walking on their lawn let alone throwing something in their backyard? Well in Ohio apparently they've never had this problem before until now; an 89 year old woman is facing jail time because she wouldn't return a football that landed in her backyard after being asked to return the ball. Although I know this sounds petty (petty theft to be exact) I do not agree with resorting to calling the police because a mean old woman doesn't want to give a ball back that landed in her backyard. I have dealt with similar problems with my own yard; those who know me know I am an ass to most people, and instead of keeping the damned ball, I just popped it and threw it in the trash on garbage night (so they can't take it and show a police officer I popped it).
Honestly, it is just a football, something you can buy at Walmart for about 10-15 bucks, it is not like it was signed or a special edition football, and if it was, that is your fault for being so stupid to play with something special to you. I had a baseball when I was young that was signed by the Oakland A's but did I use it when I had no spare baseballs? No. I can't say that these parents were great with raising their children if the father solves every problem with calling the police, pathetic no?
My option stands as this; if you have a problem with losing balls, either teach your child how to throw better (meaning you actually have to interact with your child) or you can just buy a lot of extra balls and wait until the old man/woman goes nuts from all the balls in her backyard and just throws them back over the fence.

I figured I would add my two cents because I know this must be a decent topic on the site; Prop 8, a proposition that has gotten the most attention since Prop 215 back in 1996 about legalizing medical MJ. Honestly, I am applaud at how stupid those for Prop 8 think we are;
really? You want me to believe that teaching children about same sex marriage at a young age is going to raise homosexuality? For some reason I always believed that we got over this a long time ago, the whole diversity thing, remember, we had that civil war, and all those poor southerners died and lost their homes, you don't want that do you? Heterosexuals losing their homes because they wouldn't shut up and conform to freedom? well, in any case, most of you know that this issue is serious because it literally a see-saw of defining if our constitution will last another 200 years or crumble due to our own arrogance and taking the freedom of religion to a borderline radical. Is it wrong for me to see people who oppose gay marriage to be just as radical as those terrorists that see their religion to be the right, they do the same thing Christians and catholics do with disliking gay marriage, the only difference is that Terrorists use car bombs and Christians use Propositions. Either way, they are hurting someone in the process and forcing the USA to interfere and make a choice, and just like Terrorists, Christians don't like the answer the USA came up with and are opposing us. If you don't like it, shove it!
