Well it's Wednesday and I have my family duties to tend to. My mother is stopping by this afternoon and then I take Waylon to his little league game.
I'm praying for either a break in the rain or a torrential downpour so that I don't have to sit in drizzle for 2 hours. If that's the case... and I've got Miss Ava... then I'll be in the car with my DVD player while he's playing. If I didn't have to tote a 2 year old around it wouldn't be so bad but she's a pain in my ass.
Why can't Waylon play indoor sports? Am I the only mom who really doesn't like that kind of stuff? Should I feel guilty for not wanting to participate and stand on the sidelines cheering him on? I do it on the sunny days...

Wazzup? Are we hanging out tomorrow? I've got a couple hours for lunch. Or if you can get a sitter we can hang out at night after I get my tattoo. I'll bet we could pull a few people together for friday night beers.

I did my time as Little League mom. It was sort of a pain, but it meant so much to him. And then somehow, I because the scorekeeper. This was good, because it would keep my head in the game so that I talk intelligently about what he had just done when we got home. My ex-husband was the manager of his teams, so that made for some good comedy moments for the other parents.
