This is a very well spoken commentary and I'm very happy that you shared it. It seems more than a little ironic that, while we tout our two-party system as the best in the world, all both parties seem willing and able to do (particularly lately) is try their damnedest to destroy each other.

I generally find with such extremes, the truth or the answer is somewhere in the middle.

One of the best things about our country is that we can say whatever we want, it's also what leads to a lot of polarization here. What sucks is that people usually don't consider the consequences of what they say before they say it.
