I had the best birthday. Ever.

My brother & sister in law bought me a sushi dinner.
My parents bought me a rice cooker/steamer and flowers.
My grandparents and aunt each gave me $100 and flowers.
I got two mixed tapes.
One Weezer CD.
Some shirts I bought for myself.
And one book about sex. YES!

Aaaaaaaaaaand...
My friends planned a surprise evening for me last night. I showed up at Maria's (half an hour late) where they had the place decorated and made cupcakes and all that hooplah. Then we booked it to Decatur because we were late for our dinner reservations (that I didn't know about, or else I would have made more of an effort to be on time. They know I'm ALWAYS late.) They took me to Cafe Istanbul - my first time going. We sat on pillows on the floor and ate so much great food, they let me pick the flavor of tobacco for the hookah, AND I got to dance with the belly dancer!!!
That place is fantastic.
Then back to Maria's for rum & fun.
And lots of sitting on the back porch quoting Mitch Hedberg.
