things have been a bit bonkers!
couple of weeks ago had a pretty mega relapse of my "mood problem" that i had the bulk of the end of last year/this year. but it lasted a couple of days and i came out of it ok. so far things have been fine...lets hope they stay that way.
most of the time i've been busy doing stuff thats band related - which apart from work, consumes most of my time. but its still great.
played a few gigs, wrote some new songs, getting ready for tour...its all happening.
this weekend gone, ex SG members Lisa and Ginny came down to stay with me for four days. we ate loads, met up with ex member Zombie Elvis for a wicked mexican, went and saw Flogging Molly and drank german beer and watched shite cover bands all day in Sutton High St on sunday!
the best thing though was me and Lisa went to see Bruce Springsteen on Friday at the Emirates Stadium. i can safely say without a shadow of a doubt that it was probably THE best most amazing concert I've ever been too. Bruce is just incredible, the E Street Band one hell of a bunch of musicians, and Nils Lofgren is my new favourite guitar hero. Me and Lisa couldn't stop grinning, especially when he did the incredible encore consisting of Thunder Road, Born To Run, Glory Days, Rosalita and Dancing In The Dark. Just fucking PHENOMENAL!
until next time
