Where have I been, so that I never watched this until now...
I finally saw the movie "THE BEAT", I could watch it another two or three times in a row just to catch more and more of it... but it was on IFC, maybe it will be in rotation...

I can't believe that the director (Brandon Sonnier) was only 20 when he brought it...

Poke. Poke.

Merry Xmas/down time, everyone. I just look at this insane consumer driven "holiday" as an excuse to eat some good food with my family, and think about how much I have to be happy and excited about. Be excellent to eachother.

I won't be around for a while, dudes. I'm not in a very good place and I need to take care of my brain. I will try to catch up in a while, when I have more to give.

Whatever you have to give is more than enough. Get that brain on track. Watch out for any Return Of Living Dead types. They sprint like jackrabbits and they can shuck yer skull in seconds for that brain meat.

Vicodin. Sunno))). Diet Coke & Rum. Massage from Clovesy.

Just finished watching the Lightning Bolt dvd "the power of salad & milkshakes" and if I didn't know it before, I know it now.

Lightning Bolt fucking owns me.

I don't think I've seen such a beautiful record of a band's work in a long time. One highlight for me was in New York when the drummer was going,

"I'm not from here. But that...

I usually try and steer clear of getting emotional over stuff I have no control over (ie: adopting every child and animal in the world), but after reading this in the LA weekly I just can't help but feel my blood begin to rise to a slow boil... I've been following the story for a few weeks, I guess just since the trial began; long...

I think I'd like to start meeting some people who work on cars, like body work and stuff. I've been sitting here wondering how I can get out and about more in my new home and the answer was right in front of me the whole time, damnit!
If anyone has suggestions of how to get into this feel free to drop them here. I...

You could always carjack. Might be illegal, but it could work.

Keyword: could.

best thing you could do would be to start reading anything and everything you can get your hands on about bodywork and custom cars...it is an art, not just a vocation...there are a ton of custom shops in your area..pay them a visit, OFTEN...show a genuine interest and you never know what you may learn. you may even get to push the broom(it's not a put-down, it's where you start).if you are truly interested, i can go a bit more in-depth about some of it via e-mail.
