Campbell Scott censured as Roger Dodger defines the borders of my current state. A land of primitive beast. It's castigation undeserved. We've never met.

Callum Kieth Rene, the hapless thug, is accountable. My sorry ass, had he kicked, may had learned the liability of it's action. Unfair is the way I treated, Michele, the fairer sex.

Years had faded memory. No credence in coincidence, there...

The rains. In earnest.

Stay home. Stay warm. Sip a Southern Comfort. Stare into space.

No COO Chief Operating Officer or CIO Chief Information Officer or Vice President of this, that, or the other thing, will be caught with their pants down this time. After the blackout out east and that blasted worm, the work has not stopped. I am thankful for these three days...

Similar names. Not so odd a coincidence to then receive her e-mail. For years. Public arts agent in the big city. Never thought. A public arts agent. Never thought of the value. Endlessly amazed at the money rolled out. A government or corporation fill a public space. Enough money that a percentage afforded a comfortable life. A life in the big city.

Chrome killer whales,...

hello..

such a short message,
being mysterious are we ?
bombshellbetty:
I adore the fact that you were standing in a flower bed - I wish I saw people doing things like that all the time! Dancing in one of the downtown fountains would be a good one too. But not on a weekend. It would have to be during regular business hours. Extra points if you're wearing a suit, kicking and splashing like in Singing in the Rain...

Thanks, love, I needed that. biggrin

Pretty city.

No accounting for taste. Public art in this city don't add up.

The Chihuly glass sits in the corner, in a court yard, across a reflection pool, next to rather ordinary highrise condominium. The dozen or more pieces are a treasure. The anthesis of the artisan in the industrial age. If the price of the collection was not enough, an enormous glass and...

You know, I really enjoy YOUR profile pics.
bombshellbetty:
I love a lot of Chihuly pieces. Blown glass can be very evocative. Some of the chandeliers are amazing. So delicate, so colourful, so gigantic. But that piece on Bute St. really does nothing, does it? Nothing but a name. A lot of the pieces down at the park at Beach Ave are just funny. And that piece floating in the water? Where is it? Down beach, east of the Granville St Bridge, left over from Expo. You know the one? I do like the little rocket ship over by Granville Island, though. I'd like to put a space suit on and do a pinup shoot sitting on top of that thing. That'd be fun. I wonder if I'd get arrested.

1 Corinthians, chapter 13

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;
it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Older I got. The more patient...

Granny.

The scruffy tortoise persian waits at the curb. My cat. Day before last. Waits for the truck to pull up. Never done that in the past.

Looks straight into my eyes. In the gleam of the head lights, through two silver blue pools, see to the bottom of her little cat brain.

Followed to the door. Never more than three steps this way or...

The funny looking little bald guy, the real wheel, rolls out the door with his one hundred and forty million dollars. Throws a kiss over his shoulder and spits a pithy piece like "so long suckers" or "see you in the funny papers". Squeeze a super model or might kiss a chimp. All in a day's work. Not bad if you can get...
