I have just watched the new episode of Doctor Who again. At the end, a very odd female character is introduced. She wears Victorian clothes, and, indeed, resembles Mary Poppins. She is in a beautiful, formal garden. She introduces herself as 'Missy'. Now this set me thinking, and what I thought might require a bit of a leap of faith to accept. I think that 'Missy' is a female regeneration of 'The Master' - 'Missy' being a more acceptable version of 'Mistress', the female form of 'Master'. Furthermore, it could be that the garden is within a TARDIS. Now that the Time Lords are back in the frame, anything is possible, including that I am probably miles off the mark, and 'Missy' might be the other renegade Time Lord, the Rani. It'll be fun finding out.
