I changed my pic 'cos I was thoroughly tired of the old one, even though I don't like this one as much. This may be even older than the other one. That's not my house.
Ah, two days off in a row. I've been spending alot of time in my balcony hammock reading and soaking up some much-needed sunlight. Unfortunately I also played pool five nights in a row this week, so I'm feeling a little smoked, particularly in the breathing apparatus (That's right, we can still smoke in bars down in the dirty south. )
Sadly, cwissy and artpunk didn't make it down for the weekend, but I hope they can come down soon so we can beach it up! I highly advise waiting until after G8, though.
Speaking of which, Savannah is going to be chaos June 7-11th. There are 20,000 cops coming from all over to keep the expected 5,000 protestors in check. I really hope nobody starts anything foolish. They're closing Talmadge bridge and various roads all over town, as well as restricting airspace and waterways around Sea Island. Ashcroft has already expressed his fears of a terrorist attack near the summit, possibly near Savannah. I'd really rather not be downwind of a dirty bomb at one of the ports........
There is a slim chance I'll be dead soon, but I'm not all that concerned. I'm far more worried about a possible riot, 'cos my liquor store''ll go up in flames. Fortunately, I can easily blend in with a crowd of anarchists, and I have all my welding equipment (respirator, gloves, goggles, etc...)
Odds are, it'll go off fine, but I want to be prepared just in case.
I think I'll have tacos and tequila for dinner, then catch a movie and go to the beach later tonight. Hmm, smells like my fries are done........
Man, I can't wait for my oxy/acetylene setup to get here!

Organic beer is delicious! I can't find any around here... but there are a few local brands tht are preservative and chemical free, at least. Mmmm, so much better.
Keep your head about you, and you should come out fine - but, just in case:
