Need to head to the Registry of Motor Vehicles sometime this week and see what i need for my license renewal. The official date is Nov .4 ...2 years is a long time without driving. My probation ended last week and i am a changed man because of all this. Next hoop i need to jump through..buying a car!...fun fun

I was without my license for over 2 years due to a DUI and missed probation meetings etc. It's such a treat when you get it back! They really fuck ya with fines and reinstatement though.

Gym , book store, then FINALLY i get to have an actual reason to sit my ass in front of the T.V on a sunday. Football season is always a fun time. One game a week, every game means something and it makes it that much more exciting. As much as i love baseball, 162 games is damn long. 16 games. Boom....

Was just reading about this whole #9 business about the Beatles and Lennon. Pretty strange stuff. A lot really did happen with him regarding that number. I have no interest in the Beatles rock band thats being released, but i do think today calls for some Beatles revisting. Its been a while.

Ive started to add more vegetables in my diet. Today i ate spinach. I havnt actually ate spinach in years. I found out that i really do enjoy spinach very much. Next on the list are green beans.

Going for a bike ride today. Its cooling off some, so the rides are more comfortable. I need to find some winter hobbies. Maybe ill give skiing another shot. Or maybe just sit inside and watch movies for the winter months.

I have always loved winter.

Here in Santiago summer is the mos horrendous thing. EVER.

I just can't stand the heat, you can't even BREATHE, and as much as I'd like too you just CAN'T take all of your clothes off.

In winter you can stay home, drink some hot cocoa, watch movies, maybe cuddle with someone... And it's even better if you have a fireplace...
And if it get's snowy, you can go play outside biggrin
And don't get me started in all the cool winter sports.

I pay 4 bucks for the sunday morning newspaper. My roomates girlfriend says to me" yah know that news is like 10 hours old" . Yes, im aware of this. I know reading a NEWSPAPER is quite archaic, but its just not the same sipping my coffee and reading news from online. I just hope they dont keep jacking the prices up.

So i jump onto yahoo financial news and i come to find that we are breaking ground for a new facility in China that will be up and running by the spring of '10. So im going through this serious Prog Rock phase yet again. Right now im listening Porcupine Tree, who are just amazing. And i finally heard this band IQ, who have been around for years but im only now just listening. Funny how with music, just when you think youve heard it all, an artist or band comes along and blows your mind all over again.

So today at work i had a hand in the firing of someone who i liked very much but was put in a position where my job may have been on the line as well. It was a safety issue where he could have been seriously hurt or perhaps killed, and i spoke up. Added to the story is that this guys mom passed away...

Thats a shitty situation, but I think you did the right thing. Especially if it is a safety issue where he or some one else could have been hurt. I'm sure his mother's passing had some part of it, but in the risk of sounding completely inconsiderate, he needs to check that at the door. Especially when the safety of yourself or others is in jeopardy.

I've decided, after experiencing both extremes all my life, that brutally humid, sweaty ass heat is much more tolerable than frostbite style i cant stand outside for longer than 30 seconds cold. Every year i bitch about both, but im ending that this year. Done. It is settled.
