My tattoo artist is always solidly booked. His current policy is to open his book every 6 months, get booked solid for the next 6 within about 2 weeks and then close it again. He's opening it again this morning so I'm off down there to make appointments for the new year. I'll finally get my night/day half-sleeve finished, then I'm going to start on...

I finally have the internet at home so I can access SG again. biggrin

I went to see Skunk Anansie in Wolverhampton last night, it has to be one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Skin has probably one of the best singing voices ever, and maintained it perfectly even while running around the front of the circle, and then a few songs later...

Life has been kinda crazy the last few weeks so I've not got around to any entries. After returning from Japan I had a week of rushing around to try and find a new flat in Bristol before I flew out to the USA. A bit more chilled out ATM as I have a fair few days to see stuff in New York, off down...

Tokyo sounds like an amazing city. Enjoy!

I was flicking channels when I noticed the SG Zui on Paris Hilton's best friend program and I wondered what on earth a SG would do on a show like that. Cut to the next scene and some on the hopefuls are being jetted away to Tokyo.

It looks like a superb place to visit. Lucky man!

I managed to continue the high of sorting my job by going to the kite festival on saturday with a good friend I'd not seen for nearly 10 years, followed by an awesome night out. I think I'll be taking her out as a wingman more often as 2 girls I thought were hot asked her for my phone number! Wish she'd told me while...

Dude, wingwomen are the best! I haven't flown a kite since I was a youngen but it was fun... I need to do more of that kind of stuff again..

Well the last time I was out in the UK I was mostly in Bristol and Bath, which I loved. I want to see more of London, somewhere along the eastern coast and perhaps a bit more north.. anywhere that I haven't seen really.. wink

Yeah, you lucky bastard being so connected to the train system.. I still can't believe I didn't do it years ago when I actually had money.. WTF? Now I have to wait until I have the money again.. bollocks.

On thursday morning I had the interview for the job I was virtually promised. It went really well and as expected I was offered the job. Feels great to have it definately confirmed. Really looking forward to starting it and moving back to Bristol. Realised though that I am now no longer a student, having been one for virtually my entire life up to this...

Hey. yeah i was amazed at some of the old junk i found. The pic did make me smile though - theres not too many of us as kids after a fire led to us leaving in a hurry one night...... so it was a nice find, despite my terrible hair!

Congrats on the new job, robotics research sounds pretty heavy, hope it works out fo you.
mrrek:
Cograts on the job!....its always a great feeling when you FINALLY get that confirmation call. Huge stress boulder lifted off your shoulders.

I have to try my hand at Rock band more. I have guitar player down pretty well. Or maybe i should practice my real guitar more?..Damn video games! tongue

Just had an awesome Geekend, playing many boardgames, rockband and drinking lots with my mates. My drumming skills are improving, definitely planning on treating myself to the full kit when guitar hero 5 comes out. I then went to see Inglorious Basterds, great film that was well worth seeing at the cinema - if you've not seen it GO.

Also my snake turned up while...

Well that lasted all of 5 seconds. Apparently she doesn't see it working in the long term, seems really strange given how things were over the weekend. No use crying over spilt milk though.

As an added worry my corn snake is missing in the house somewhere, after escaping while I cleaned out his viv. Hopefully he'll turn up when he gets hungry.

Just come back from a fantastic weekend. It started with a great house warming party as a precursor to going up to see Nikki. I was nervously excited - but it couldn't really have gone better. Pretty much straight from having had one date into a serious relationship on the second meeting. Although, we have been chatting everyday online for weeks so it felt like...

I met a fantastic young lady via internet dating a couple of weeks ago. Having been on msn everyday leading up to it, I was optimistic about the first date. It was everything I hoped for and more. I'd planned to go visit her the following weekend (she lives 2hrs away). The next morning I was somewhat aghast when she said things didn't feel right...
