Here is part three in my exciting series on points of interest near my business travels. Here are a few photos of Montezuma's Castle in central Arizona (between Phoenix and Flagstaff). I think the local historian attended public school in Los Angeles because the informative marker at the site explains how they don't know where the Sinagua tribe came from that built the castle, where they went, why they came here or why they left....or why they built the castle in the cliff.
However, they do know from other historians that the castle was not built for Aztec King Montezuma...nor did Montezuma ever travel this far north. I don't know how much historians get paid in Arizona, but it sounds like a pretty kick back job.
There it is...
The plague...yummmm
A picture from the shade...where it is only 110 degrees...refreshing.

the great thing about this is my friends already own it, and I was going to just rent from them. Then we started talking about shared ownership, and things really brightened up!
