HAPPY FOURTH!!! LOL Yeah, I'm a couple days late, but still!
So what did you all do to this weekend?
I had a blast! Saturday my friend Jon and I went to Benicia and watched the fireworks with our friend Joey and his family... These are all my extended family so it was great The show was awesome, especially because do to some malfunction the fireworks were going off rather low and burning embers were raining into the crowed. You'd think there'd be panic but quite the opposite, everyone thought it was hilarious!
Sunday was Joey's 29th birthday, and to celebrate we all got together again and went out fishing in his Dad's new 20.25 foot Lund, out at the San Pablo Reservoir. The day started off cold, windy, and cloudy, but as the hours went by it cleared up and the fishing picked up. around 2:30 or so I hooked a NICE spotted bass. It was only about 3.5 lbs but I later found out that's trophy size for a spotted bass. Even if I had known that while it was on the boat I still would have let it go, I'm a firm believer in catch and release. Besides, video serves the same purpose
Pay attention at the end of the video... I had no idea Joey did that till I saw the video! LMAO Joey's the one with the net, Joe (Joey's Dad) is the one you hear the most and Jon's the one who says he hates me LOL I love these guys
