Was talking to my therapist today about how children believe in the "elasticity of time", and how I am quite childlike in that way. Hmmm. Goes a long way towards explaining why I'm late for everything. More importantly, I like the way it sounds...

ELASTICTIME

Not as catchy as "Hammer Time", but still has a nice ring to it.

you know...you and her are PERFECT for eachother...you both know how to talk down to people to make yourself feel smarter than others...PERFECT!!! Yeah, good-bye and goodluck to you also (sarcasm inserted here)....
mexicant:
The thing about all this is that she chose to end our friendship with the symbolism of her removing me from her friends list, not I. When I called to remind her of the joke, and the subsequent tongue lashing which ensued, I was done. I bore no ill will and was wholely contempt to have it off my chest. She chose to go back and start things on this site and lump both S and I together.
I was fine with the notion that S wasn't going to want to be friends with you two, and that I was still going to be, but she flew off the handle at me which is something that I did not deserve. As I said before... I was done.
So all I'm doing now is agreeing with her first sentiment and contining on the path of the ended friendship. I receive far too much aggrression from her and this "friendship" is far too hard to work at to keep... which is something that should never be.

How many times do I have to say I won't wear that school girl outfit in public? After what happened last time, I'm surprised I wasn't arrested!

Hee hee!

I think I saw them on an Insomniac episode. How cool is that!!?? Talk about having a rough day @ work & to be able to release all that tension while exercising & entertaining.

Have a wonderful weekend, you deserve it!

I had a dream last night about being in a class, like a high school class, where we had individual desks and weird old computers on each desk. I thought it was a Spanish class at first, but then it turned out to be a math class. I wasn't feeling well, and I had a hard time seeing the computer screen, like it was really...

ugh.

Have been in a crappy mood these past couple of days. Life goes reasonably well, so I can't really complain, but I'm dragging nonetheless.

In unrelated news, gay pride has decended upon my neighborhood. Well, I suppose there's a lot of gay pride here on any given day, but this weekend it takes the form of a parade. I find this to be somewhat...

"Just like the King James Bible, I'm Morocco bound!"
(So says Crosby and Hope, plus Dorothy Lamour on a camel)

But in this case it should be Vegas bound...

What exactly would you bind Las Vegas in?
I'm fairly sure I do not want to know the answer to that question....

I'll try and restrain myself from the 'Sin City' behavior, but if I'm lounging by the pool and Engelbert Humperdink (or as Eddie calls him, Slut Bunwalla) comes crooning by......well, I can't be held responsible for my behavior!

sheesh, I've neglected my journal for far too long. That's partly because I've been busy, but also because life has been fairly routine for the past few weeks.

All is well on the relationship front.

No major familial trauma to report, except that my Stepfather is taking my mother back to court again over custody of my sister (she's 9, and I adore her). It...

Fairly routine? Drama-free? Imagine! The way it's supposed to be? Excellent. Glad to hear.

busy busy busy busy

Haven't been around all that much these past couple weeks. Relations with N continue to progress nicely. Realized the other day that we've been dating for a month. Time flies.

I won an award at the Del Mar Fair for a short animation I submitted to the Student Art Showcase. Went to an incredibly boring breakfast and got a piece of...

Thanks to everyone who wished me well on my birthday. I've been running around (in the fun way) all week, and haven't had time to catch up on replies.

Things continue to go well for me these days. My birthday itself was lovely, as I got to go out with friends for drinks in the early evening and spend the rest of it with N...

Haven't been around much this past week. Haven't been sleeping much either. It's not that I've had trouble sleeping, which is usually the case. Instead, I've been in the arms of a new lover. So I've been too preoccupied to sleep, or rather, to sleep enough. I can't begin to describe how wonderful this development makes me feel.

What is the little sperm thing next to your name on my friend's list?

Oh wait, I just found the answer above. Happy birthday Mr. Demille! Many happy wishes from me to you.

I am so happy for you (regarding your new lover) *Sigh* isn't fresh love grand? ooo aaa

Life continues to look up these days. Have been spending as much time with N as possible. Things continue to go remarkably quickly and well on that front. I am, for all intensive purposes, smitten. It's thrilling.

Thrilling and a little terrifying. I am unaccustomed to this sort of stricken by lightning feeling, so the more cynical, jaded parts of me are keeping one rapidly...

I have returned. Actually got back late late Monday night (after a 14 hour trip home from Michigan - arrgh - weather delays). It has been quite the eventful week. Full of surprises.

First and foremost, I met N last week, and we seem to have hit it off rather well. She is smart, sexy, and sweet. Enchanting really. I called her as soon as...

Well, I was reluctant to update my journal because I wanted to keep showing off my pics with the SGB folk as long as fashionably possible. All good things though...

I've been preoccupied with dull stuff most of this week. For the class I'm taking in interactive media, I put together a couple of submissions for the Del Mar Fair. I did it on behalf...

You don't know me and I don't know you but I need a favor. Go to the bonfire/beach thing. I hear so many good things about you and need to meet you now. If not I'll be forced to stalk you. Thanx. biggrin
