As I've gotten older I realize more and more how much I don't really know and how very unimportant my vanity and ego really are. I still get angry and have differing viewpoints, but I really could care less and less about arguing with folks. Nothing comes of a heated discussion. Everyone has closed minds and ears. If you want to talk about things in a normal tone of voice and an open mind, then I am game. 
Mind you, I think I tolerate people I DON'T know less and less. I wish I could change this, but I feel like the people I love are more important.
