I like it when my prejudices are reinforced. Particularly about Germans.
We spent the weekend in Tubingen, near Stuttgart, for a wedding. Now, I've worked with several Germans and met others, and I've never met one I didn't like. At this wedding, which was a very refined affair, with excellent food, local wine and beer, and unusual but traditional entertainment, everybody was so welcoming, so kind and so funny.
(the music was awful, but hey, you can't have everything.)
So my existing pro-German prejudices were totally reinforced. Makes me feel like quite the good European...
