Yesterday was the best night out for a long time. I went to see a burlesque show - my first burlesque experience! - with some guys and girls from work. So much fun, we all really enjoyed it. It was the fabulous Miss Polly Rae and her Hurly Burly Girls - all super-hot and super-talented. Go see them if you have a chance!

...now I need to revamp my resume. A task I should be attempting to tackle right now...but....well, here I am. Hahaha. Oopsie.

And thanks for the awesome comment on Offset! smile I'm glad you like!

I hope for both our sakes that you don't have to eat any hats!

But, the best set comment ever award definitely goes to you! tongue

Insomnia again. The house is quiet, the girls are sleeping. A tiring day, but mentally not physically, and the book I read in bed was not enough to bring me down and stop my mind buzzing. Tomorrow, I must be sharp and focussed, and concentrate hard. Something's gotta give.

Rhubarb crumble might just be the greatest invention since, err, beer. If it could get you drunk, it would be perfect.

"Is this the first ever steampunk set?"

Not exactly! (Although wouldn't I love to think so!!!) Carol's sets are pretty steampunk. Mitzi and Jetta have both worn goggles in sets before. And look at these Steampunk SG sets. Temper and Cherry's sets are pretty damn steampunk in my opinion. My set might be the first with an airship AND goggles though, two staples of the genre. Not to mention a top hat, brassy compass and book on steam-powered engines! So I like to think I've added something to the legacy. smile

One hour of samba, two hours of capoeira. Legs and arms are hurting.

My brain abuzz with charts and tables, ticks and equations. The beer is not cooling it down. Time for a book - come in Quicksilver your time is up. ARRR!!!
milloux:
Hahaha! Your comment on me & Georgia's set got me laughing!!!

Capoeira is awesome by the way!

Sweaty from the gym, and a sore arm from scrubbing crayon off the chairs. A glass of wine, a bite of millionaire's shortbread, and the weekend starts (quietly) here... biggrin
koshil:

I need to get back to reality. It's all a mess.

(apart from the pay rise, that is. But there are more important things than money.)

New job, more money, more hours. So far, so good, but the fight or flight response has never been busier.

And the women in my life? What are they doing? eeek
