Tuesdays election in Massachusetts to decide who occupies the U.S. Senate seat long held by Ted Kennedy, could have an immediate impact on not only the first meaningful healthcare reform in 50 years as well as significant regulations on Wall Street Tycoons if that seat goes to Republican candidate, Scott Brown.

But, too few people realize that by upsetting the delicate voting numbers could also set the stage for a Republican comeback in the elections of 2010 and 2012, with a return of a party that gave us George W.
