Hello everyone, let me just start with saying how much I absolutely adore music. So thanks @missy @rambo and @lyxzen for the topic. It's always been a way for me to express any type of emotion and escape from the world for a little while. Each of these songs have been one of my favorites at a critical point in my life. So hopefully some of you like some of these songs or the artists that created them as well.
1. Believe by Cher
Cher was the very FIRST concert I ever went to and I and always been a huge fan. Her music just brings me back to my early childhood and makes me think about my mom.
2. I've Got All This Ringing In My Ears And None On My Fingers by Fall Out Boy
My best friend and I always used to drive around in high school eating French fries and screaming our hearts out to pop punk music. I love pop punk and it always reminds me of what kept me going through life in those awkward middle and high school years.
3. New Noise by Refused
I think we all could use a little angry hardcore music from time to time. It's always funny to me when I drive around with the windows down and I'm listening to hardcore and people don't know what to think because I drive a Volkswagen bug and probably look like I should listen to Taylor Swift.
4. Love Love Kiss Kiss by Alkaline Trio
This song just brings me back to falling in love with the love of my life. We've seen them live together twice, and every memory I have from those shows is just perfect.
5. Your Hand in Mine by Explosions in the Sky
I have always loved instrumental music. It has such an overall calming effect. I can almost always be found listening to artists like Explosions in the Sky and The XX when I am painting. It just creates a great flow.
