My only tip is to travel, as much as you can. I love it! My next big trip is going to be in June, to Greece, Croatia, Italy and Scotland. I can't WAIT!! It's going to be soooooo good.

Yesterday my friend and her family and a belated TAMALE making get-together and I learnt this fine art.
Apparently their version is a little healthier than the tradition recipe. Ghee replaces pig fat...I suppose purified butter is slightly kinder on the hips than pig fat....I was rolling little parcels of mashed up potato&maize, chicken, capsicum, rice and olive...
