One Santa gig leads to another as they say... This time with a better fitting costume!
The highlight of the session this time was chatting to a beautiful little downs syndrome girl who came in to see me after the grotto had officially closed. She'd been too shy to come in with her brother and sister earlier in the evening, but I noticed she kept sneaking up to the entrance to have a look in. Eventually after a bit of waving, smiling and beckoning she ventured in to talk to me and had her photograph taken sitting on my knee. One of the teachers at the school said it was very unusual for her to feel so comfortable with strangers, so I was quite chuffed!
