I haven't posted anything in ages, so here are a couple of shots taken at a recent Folk Festival. I generally prefer posting in black and white, which I think is so much more dramatic than colour, but I've included a colour shot to show off the natural highlights in my beard. People often ask me if I put them in deliberately, but they're actually...

It was a very wet and misty morning yesterday, but we still danced the sun up atop a local hill to celebrate the winter solstice. Having being diagnosed with, and successfully treated for, cancer this year it meant a great deal to me to be there with my friends. I only joined in a couple of dances, but it's just a month since I had...

Really hope it went all right for you. I love the sentiment and the badass graphics, mind (Hubby is into D&D, and would approve hugely).
moon_beast:
Everything went well and I'm feeling good, @persephonepitstop. I have a genetic condition called Lynch Syndrome which means that the cancer is 'highly likely' to recur, but for now at least I'm all fixed. Thank you for asking! :-)

Yours truly having fun in Paris.

None of the youngsters I saw trying it could make it go round properly... I got on and it just wouldn't stop. Something to do with mass and inertia I think! :-)
