I'll let you know as soon as I know when it will be dropping in MR.
Then we have this little morsel of amazing ridiculousness waiting in the wings:
I cannot WAIT to see how the finished product looks! AND I have an idea that I think is pretty fantastic that Bob is shooting for me when I go to San Francisco next weekend. Can you believe it!? I never get to shoot for SG and this year you could potentially see three sets from me! So excited!
Speaking of San Francisco, I haven't been there since I was a kid, so I need advice on what we should check out while we're there!
You know what one of my favorite things is? Instant Netflix. Last weekend it helped alleviate my boredom and led me to discover the most incredible documentary on modern burlesque, A Wink and a Smile.
It's seriously so fucking good. It follows a group of Seattle women taking a burlesque class and explores burlesque's capacity as a medium through which sexuality and gender roles can be explored. This is a topic that is oh so near and dear to my heart because of SG, obviously, but also because I spent my last year and a half of college researching, writing, and creating art about that very topic (though my main focus was pin-up art). So the whole time I was watching the documentary I was practically in tears and amen-ing at the screen. The woman who teaches the class, Miss Indigo Blue, is so intelligent and articulate. So inspiring. I really want to do burlesque and/or female drag. Like reallyreally.
Hmmm, what else?
Yesterday while on my way to work I was listening to this guilty little pleasure of mine:
Not realizing that my headphones were unplugged and the whole entire bus heard. EMBARASSING. Since Rihanna thought it'd be cool to rip off like 16 other people in that video, I decided that it'd be ok for me to rip off that hairdo. So very soon it's byebye hairz. I'm excited.
I guess that's all.
So I got to see my latest set! I've done cute, and sassy, and sexy. This time I'm doing sweet and simple. It's still pending review but here's a teaser.

Which one is yours? I don't see either of the two Tumblrs listed here on my follow list. I'm glad mine is educational

I have good intentions (re the movie), but life seems to be accelerating past the speed of sound these days. Pedaling as fast as I can.
