elementary. math is always right, i suppose. unless you choose to live in a different world and ignore rules that have existed for millennia.

i've been doing that since last june, 2004. i've been living in the world of suicide girls. i've had a lot of bullshit happen and i've had a lot of wonder. a lot of drunken nights, stoned ruminations, and ridiculous and fantastic laughter. i've met a lot of groovy folk...ya'll. the ones on my friends list now, in my current guise as frogsimmons, and those i knew, and who knew me, as monkeybutt .

if i'm sounding particularly reflective, it's because i am reflecting. i'm reflecting back on the last year or so, sitting here in my workout clothes, eating chicken and rice, having a cold tecate and listening to lloyd cole. it's a wonderful august day, the breeze is blowing cool and sweet...and i'm leaving suicide girls. for good.

i know, i know...you're already calling bullshit. i've cried wolf so many times, those of you that have been around for it are counting the days until i sign back up.

but this will be my last journal entry. september 9th is my final day. and this final journal entry indicates my fascination with how numbers add up together. 3 has always been a lucky number, i suppose. my final comment count as monkeybutt added up to 3, if you go find it. theres a fucking pathetic thread around here somewhere that houses monkeybutts final commentsbefore the rebirth as frogsimmons. and we all know it just hasnt been the same since then. so here is my final entry until september 9, when i fade away... just like those penguins down there in the south pole.

alleycake- i dont really know enough about you to say much. but youre super cute and you always have nice things to say.

bateman- sir bateman, what can i say? you are a true friend. you always have a kind word and you listen when i speak. i hope i have done the same for you on occasion. heres to that drink when we do finally meet up.

beckyuill- a very sweet and rather engaging girl who always makes me laugh. your photo journals are the best. and her mom has small poop!

d0bermann- my entirely strange friend who came to me through miss_lady (another great friend who's anon, btw)we shared such great laughs and photos and weirdness. and i really did come in your yogurt.

datsun- such a wonderfully sweet girl. if you dont know her, go say hi. youre genuinely kind and i wish you the best, datsun.

eli- this chick rocks my cock. you are hard core and never tell anything other than the truth. and damn you fine. i hear youre a great cook too.

elkaen- a bit of a mysterywe never got to do that IM thing to share infobut you seem to be a beacon of normality in this odd world.

foxee- hot hot hot. a great photographer, a great pot smoker, and you look good eating bananas. even though you never did come to meet me in calabasas.

geckogirl- as monkeybutt i would have saved you for last. but those days are passed. however, youre still in my heart. i'm listening to the trip that wasn't as i write this. i hope you get your job in seattle and come visit me in los angeles for some more hiking.

hopey- like alleycake, i dont know you enough to say much. but youre on my friend list, so you must rock in many ways. i hope you always find your cocks in and not out.
