i just went to a christmas eve party with my boyfriend and a bunch of his relatives...since i was a kid, ive always wanted at least something resembling a "normal" holiday experience; something that looked like every holiday movie i'd ever seen...christmas tree, decorating, dinner, party- whatever. and since i can remember, i always ran around in a flurry doing my best to try and...

Glad to hear you enjoyed your christmas this year. Your boyfriends family sound great to be around at christmas
petbot:
Hope it went according to plan darling... other people's families are always better. Mine went away and didn't even invite me! frown Oh well, that's why we have to put up our own trees and make our own hot chocolate.

nope...the cool kids wont let me play with them in NYC...im still not feeling any love from the SGNY group..

i really really need to start flushing out the predictable, habit-driven tendenciies that often prevent me from going beyond my confort zone (literally and figuratiively, and settling in a relatively apathetic state.
so...
i think i need to infuse new people and surround myself with...

well, i couldnt think of a better way to start off the new year than with the lovely ladies of SGNY...and in following with my earlier ramblings, the open call sounds like ample opportunity to take a running leap from my comfort zone and try, and retrieve my old semse of intrigue that got lost somewhere along the way, and all this while surrounded by beautiful, intelligents SGNY cars, with an eually beautiful variied array of llife experiences and thoe lprecious pieces of wisdom that that truely come frome lived experiences and stories that make all you kittens so darn intriguing and wonderful miao!!

Mental vomit is definetly something that should be spewd out as often as needed.

I find that when I feel stuck in my comfert zone that a simple going out of it a little bit will generaly send me completly out of it. A few drinks tend to help too.

Good luck, hope you feel better... surreal

im at barnard (columbia) whatever...its probably ragingly obvious how much i would prefer to not be here filling my mind with incredibly uselless, space consuming stuff...im pretty sure there are piles of stuff i could be cramming into my brain would be interesting...i guess then, im just sick of feeling some compulsion to stuff unecessary information into my mind, because im supposed to- whether it...

Where are you in school?

I'm so bad about procrastination. Why do it tomorrow when you can put it off until the day after tomorrow?

i think i forgot how to sleep...maybe i'll just use this opportunity to conduct scientific research on how long it actually takes me being awake to be considered legally insane...i usually wimp out when i try being my own lab rat in these cases- when hallucinations happen thats my cue to do the sleep thing. i dont know why i resist sleep and food so...

i officially just spent yet another aimless (sleepless) night...its amazing how i could watch hour after hour roll by- knowing that there are actually things i should and NEED to be doing in order to continue functioning like a relatively normal human being...and yet, i still manage to amaze even myself with my impressive ability to just about anything else BESIDES what i should be...

Yeah, when I'm not doing my creative thing I too feel that my personal identity fades.... What's really hard is if I haven't been working on stuff on a regular basis there is that whole getting back to work on new things problem. It's always so slow getting back into the creative mind set, but well worth it.
