Okay, so it has been a REALLY LONG TIME since I posted anything. I will try to be a bit more frequent in my blogging efforts (however, seeing that I have no friends on this site it might be a bit like performing to an empty theatre - but so be it) but for now here is a very very very abbreviated version of my life between the last post in early 2004 and now. I was living in New Orleans working at Cooter Browns tavern Uptown and going nowhere in life. Hurricane Katrina hit and I was forced to move back to my hometown of Baton Rouge (I didn't lose anything - I was living in the French Quarter - but I was sick of being in the apartment I was in and couldn't afford to live on my own anywhere else without my roommate - who was, and still is, in Austin, TX.). I did manage to find a job though, that sort of is related to my career aspirations of being a filmmaker; I work at a local production company called Digital FX, where we make local television commercials. We even do some national work for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, and National Geographic. I also fell in love with a girl I met through myspace (actually she found me and made the first move - which is really amazing considering my goofy mug - you'll know what I'm talking about when I post an actual picture of myself instead of a Gustav Dore wood-cut of Baron Munchausen), was flown up (by her!) to Niagara Falls, where she lives, and spent three wonderful weeks with her over Christmas and New Years, came back home anxiously awaiting her visit a couple of months down the line, then began to be ignored by her, and ultimately found out (by piecing together clues from her myspace profile) she was fucking some other guy and had decided to not formally tell me it was over between us. But, I am over her now and am enjoying my job - plus I just got back from seeing Tom Waits play in Memphis, TN. so right now I am on cloud nine.
That is my life up to this moment. I hope somebody reads this, but if not... whatever. It's an adventure.
p.s. I also just turned 34! Is that old?

Firstly, i'm sorry to hear about the girl, thst is really shitty, and she should have had more respect for you, and herself to tell you. Sorry.
Secondly, thanks for commenting on my set, really, thank you.
