So it looks like I got the job at the retail store as assistant manager. We're still in talks for salary and start date and whatnot, so nothing is set in stone yet. Plus, I've never actually said "Yes, I'll take the job" and they've never said "The job is yours." But they're getting back to me later this week with a salary offer so that's a promising sign. Right?
I also have a job interview at a bank this week. That job doesn't pay as well as the management position but it's a smaller organization that still has room for advancement. I think the bank is a much better fit for my personality than a large retail store would be. Plus working at the bank wouldn't require me to relocate. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that interview goes well because I really would rather take that job.

Im currently in the retail environment (which the only thing I dont mind about it is that I work with stuff I like) but I think working with a bank would have so many more perks... like banking hours are pretty sweet
