Ok....Sisu continues the wild ride.

It was gay pride week here and I went out to the gay bar last night with my best friend. I got to meet his current flame, tease them and be teased. So fun.

Something very interesting happened. I got hit on by a cute blonde girl. (That's not the interesting part.) Now, I am straight but have no qualms...

Ooh. Shogun might be a fun one to tackle this summer.

'the clamping' sensation that you referred to, for me, extends out way beyond touching. the way people act around me, even if i'm not involved, can really put me out. i guess it would also be similar to when a person is really not getting the hints that their end of the conversation is going on way too long or down a path that is not interesting. hmm.. you got me thinking about this.

Well Sisu and little dood came into the city for a much needed stress day! My brain was starting to warp from the pressure and precision of my own demands.

Came in, went out to Gabb's and danced till 3am. Danced hard. Sweat dripping off of me. WOOOT! Totally what I needed. Got hit on, got free cds, passed out flyers to the show...my ex...

napping while the rain falls inches above you, sounds lovely.

Will the Toronto show be solo or group? You must be incredibly excited. I know I would be. smile

I hope we get to see pictures. robot kiss

Why not just a hello?

Hello.

*Barbeque rocks my world and this dancer eats meat. Yes siree. Rock my world. I'll even eat hotdogs although I do not care to think about what's in them.

* Sisu is one horny girl. Damn. I can't figure out why because I'm so bloody tired I'm running on sheer adreneline. Maybe that's why....I dunno. This poor bod is like the desert and touch is...

Oh man, you and me both. I've been too long without a little of the good stuff.

And yeah, beer, cigarettes and sex does sound pretty good.

Have you thought about the silver streak? I've seen some women do that and it can look pretty cool.
dizzy:
Sweet dreams. My hair is silvering up too. I don't mind it so much. But as you said, if it would just all get on the same page....

Ok.....I need to get this out of my system........If you don't get it, well get over it! This is a Sisu write for ten minutes straight to pull out all ideas from her several over-taxed right lobe (dumbass) So this may make sense or may not.....I just need to write somewhere and here is where I'm going to shove it.....

Ready get set.....

I initially felt the same way about the kid who was accused of molesting his cousins. But they made a big point out of the fact that he was only accused, and it was up to us to decide whether he was guilty. That was something else that was bothering me - I don't know if I could live myself if I decided that there wasn't enough evidence to convinct him but it turned out that he had done the crime after all.

As for your entry, thanks it's very interesting! I'm picturing what you've said and it makes some sense to me. As to the limitations of the human body... unfortunately that's what we're stuck with. I used to compose really complex piano pieces in my head, and it would drive me nuts when I couldn't actually play them. We need to be able to work with what we have, to create within our own limitations.

Have you read any St. Thomas Aquinas writings? He talked a good bit about numerical and mathematical significance in biblical writing, based on your last paragraph you might find it interesting (Summa Theologica is his major work.)

And don't worry about the arty mess in your house. Those are good messes - creative droppings, as it were. wink

Wow! These are the kind of wonderful musings that I will miss most. I love your merging of science and art in the human body, motion and dance. love love love

Thank you for being such a beautiful part of my SG experience.

Well I didn't get to the beach...it RAINED ALL BLOODY DAY. What a rip. Ended up doing laundy..oh joy of joys. *insert gagging motion here*

However, rain and a newly weeded garden are the perfect playgrounds of little boys. The dood was out there making pits and piles of mud. "Strip in the porch and don't bring your muck into the house!" Hehehe....I'm such a...

Yeah it is chilly today. *sigh* At least no snow. *looks up at the sky*

The image of your son mucking about in the mud is delightful. I imagine your mom will be very happy to get the pictures. smile

I feel a tinge of envy every time you mention dancing. I think I would have been a lot happier if I'd pursued dancing when I was a kid. Oh well. I still enjoy dancing period. I don't do raves anymore since I quit chemicals and everything died here in the city from all the coke floating around. frown

The pieces sound interesting. Will there be any pictures?

You didn't offend me in the least. Cow was a sad clown. robot kiss
legionnaire:
Glad to hear that the practicing is going well for your performance. I love that feeling that you get when you've been working really hard for a long time on pieces to perform, and the nervous energy stops becoming a problem and starts helping give it a little something extra.

And don't worry too much about having me in the audience. smile I'm very open minded, and I'm sure you'll be great.

Old school Moby is great - Everything is Wrong is a classic album.

Well......my mom came out to visit the dood and I. It was so nice to have her here. You forget how much you can miss someone till they have to say goodbye.

She helped me get my yard under control because it was truly starting to overwhelm me. It's big! The lawn got cut and I have a 5 lovely blisters on my hand from...

Glad to hear that you had a nice visit. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you - it's been a busy week (and weekend!)

And I like your hair! Of course, I'm contemplating cutting all of my mine off too, so I guess I shouldn't talk. smile
sonicjunky:
Yes! exactly! I love that feeling when you're so close to someone that you can sit there and be silent knowing the other person would have it no other way at that moment, but you're both perfectly happy. It drives people crazy though, like there's something wrong. Silence equals aggression, or failure to communicate. I wish they could just be comfortable with it instead of saying something for the sake of feeling like they're getting along, or feeling accepted. I've been trained to be a loner though, so I'm pretty comfortable with silence.

that's too funny about someone stealing your flowers! I just read "survivors" and the main character would steal fake flowers to plant in his employers lawn instead of having to take care of real ones. Ah well I hope the gardening was good though. I think it's relaxing, therapeutic.

Allo......

Don't know how much I will be update my journal in the next little while. I'm down into the last wks before I perform.
Some dull aches, pains and tired muscles.

However, I will peek at everyone else's journal periodically to keep in touch.

Quote for the day.....

"You get what you ask for."

How come nobody asks anymore?

Ok....here's Mere's next philosophy in life...... hehehehe.

I've been doing some research into copyright and contracts. It's an intense process but one that I need to get damn good at. Anyway, I've realized that in this process, I need to keep a contract in my heart and mind. Sounds kind of intense and cold but how can I keep functioning with people (relationships, friendships, etc.)...

I can't give all of myself away!

I've done it before. It's very painful to come back from.

I adore dancing. It's the thing that makes me happiest. I'm not a dancer though. I'd love to live next to a dancer who danced around spontaneously. It would make me feel more alive. smile kiss

HI Sisu! here I am, long time gone.. well, I agree that been nice it's an attitude which always brings positive, but most people take advantage from that! So, especially in business and work relationships, using some protection is a good idea. Then, you can always see how to play the "harder" role.. I have the same problem, and mostly I get good things from being nice and open: I can't be different! I have had bad experiences from it though, and that helps in understanding people and life..
I'm in Bali now, I'm going to post u some nice pics from our house: it's fantastic! we r working hard, but we have our pleasures to counterbalance.. and soon i'll get some gigs at local best disco-bar!
xxx smile

Update: I just got off the phone with a very good friend of mine who is also a dancer and choreographer. We talked for, get this, three hours. She thanked me profusely for phoning and I feel exactly the same way. Both of us needed to reach out and connect with each other's knowledge of the art and of living that type of life. We...
