Ok..... today is the day folks.
Hard to believe.
My ass, officially hurts like I will never want to have an ass again.
Yesterday the dood and I picked up all our lighting gear and he helped me haul it up to the second floor for tech rehearsal. We probably made an interesting site. Little wirey lady with her boy hauling vast amounts of large metal crates and cabling. He's so great.
Went into the studio at 8. Didn't leave till midnight. Messed around with the screen, got it up, needs some tweaking. I've never rigged a lighting board before. Figured that out too. Got lights set.
Even the dance with me all taped up. I doesn't fall off even when you sweat and it still hurts when you take it off.
I'm thinking im only going to take half of it of because it hurts that much. Owie! I like my boobs where there are thank-you very much.
My light and sounds guys are the best. My lighting guy has never done lights. Teehee~ I was teasing him about something new to stick on his artistic resume. He's into it and did a great job. My lights are really simple. It's a small space and anything too fancy will drown it out.
Well I've got a million things to do........

I had a wonderful day today. I hung out with my mom and sister. My mom and I went to Harry Potter, then we all had dinner out. I had almond crusted salmon with jasmine rice, veggies, leek lemon butter sauce, spinach salad, AND strawberries with whipped cream and ice cream. Phew!
My walk home tonight was scented with lilacs. Gorgeous summer evening.
