If anyone has ever heard of gypsy-punk...you gotta listen to Gogol Bordello. It's a 9 member band with Ukrainian/Russian roots. Their show on December 27th at Webster Hall in NYC was packed with high energy and fucking good music!! And their after-party at Mehanata, a Bulgarian club/bar, also had the same vibe:
