It's 8:30am and I've been up for 2 hours. I couldn't speak to Miss Tallahassee last night, so I woke up this morning and talked to her for an hour.
Now I'm preping for my gym work out. I'm far more motivated today. Yesterday was a slow day. I think listening to Switchblade Symphony first thing in the morning helps.
Last night: Did the Pirate Thursday thing followed by East. Faith & December were very alluring. I'm just not fond of having these pretty ladies as background ambiance. I have far more respect for them so East was sort of a bust for me. Sinferno is different as our SuicideGirls are the main attraction. All eyes are on them, as they should be. I left like 5 minutes after getting there.
Pirate's Cove was more fun, but that's probably because I was included in the conversation there.
Musings: I'm feeling a bit brave this morning. It may be the coffee talking. I get the distinct impression I'm not part of the "IN" crowd. I'm pretty sure I received the brush off last night from a former member, whom by the way, I set up with a 3 month membership when money was tight for this person. I never expected huge platitudes, a sincere thank you would have sufficed, but it was as if this individual started being an ass after I showed a little kindness. I don't care if you don't like me, but don't sit next to me and start a conversation then proceed to ignore my presence once I return the cordiality. That's just shitty. I don't know, perhaps it's just the decent human being in me, I just don't see the need to be a shit just because you're not partial to me. I have no problem respecting your space, so respect mine.

Yeah, not especially interested in being "in" either. I really love it here for meeting new and interesting people, but for the most part I see my best buddies outside the usual gatherings.
