Busy week. Too much happening! Quick update in order.
Came home from uni, twice. There was too much stuff to fit in just one car and so I had to go back up on Sunday with dad to get the rest of it. Yay for six hour round trips _ . Not that it really matters anyway as the stuff doesn't even fit in my room, well, not neatly anyway. The storage space consists of three drawers. Oh well.
Oh! We got caught in a flash flood. That was exciting/terrifying. You know when you're in a boat and you can feel the waves hit the side - we could feel that in a big ol' Ford Focus. The water was up to the windscreen. I actually thought that it was quite funny, my mum (the driver) was understandably mortified. Ah well. We survived.
Went into London to see Regina Spektor yesterday. She was amazing. Had a heated debate with some guy who was being a douche. He and his friends had a few blankets on the floor and were trying to reserve space for their friends. Now, that's cool, I understand that before a gig starts but as the artist walks onto the stage, you can't expect people not to step on your bloody blanket. We were all hot and cramped but this guy wanted to have his own little roomy VIP bit? Fuck off. But whatever, all was soon forgotten with the wonder that is Spektor. *grin*
Today? Today is packing day. Packing and holiday shopping. This pleases me! Portugal tomorrow! Yaay!
God, I'm a lucky gal!
Hope everyone's having a great time in the sunshine!
