I'm not entirely sure how I'm still here. My account was supposed to run out on the 8th, four days on and my account is still active. Hmmm... I'm not complaining! Just a bit confused.

I wish I had more exciting things to tell you all. My days have been filled with knitting, teaching myself Japanese and playing the Sims. I'm an easily pleased creature....

Ah, did you initially get the 12 month subscription? I did the same and when a year was up they just charged my credit card again without letting me know. Not cool.
cinn:
Wow...you're gorgeous. :] And Finding Nemo is the shit.

Exam tomorrow. I have absolutely no clue. Shiiiiiiiit.

But instead of revising like a sensible person I've been making tiny little pixel robots. *sigh*. Right, no more procrastination, SG! If any of you see me online, promptly give me a slap. Ta!

we loved iron man 2 - obviously there were niggly wee things i'd have had different, but overall it was fun, and mickey rourke is fantastic in it. . .

we watched star trek t'other night after our day of lovely skiving - it was teh first movie we went and saw a year ago after we first got together. seven years of friendship later, eh. . .

like two nerdy peas in a pod tongue

hope you're having a good weekend - i've spent the afternoon creosoting my mum's garden shed and fence, but the sun's been out and glorious all day, so. . . smile

Mate. I am a complete arse. 1/8th of my degree is due in two days and I have done fuck all. By the end of this my blood will be stained green with energy drinks.

Sorry for the negative energy. I'll be back on form in a couple of days once the stress monster has retreated. I'll love you and leave you until then, no...

My boyfriend and I have been off and on for 12 years. We really do love each other. I'm disabled and only get alittle money from the state, so he works full time to support me, that I'm thankful for. But recently your right, it seems to be more negative than positive.

10,000 words to write, 6 days. I'm boned. Luckily, my boyfriend had the foresight to bring hot chocolate home with him so I can stay up late for the rest of the week.

I hate that I leave everything to the last minute but on the upside it means I work exceedingly well under pressure. I haven't cracked yet! biggrin

Wish me luck ladies and manly-folk....

My lady writes the most amazing papers at the last minute. It's a gift and an art.
memorandom:
leaving things to the last minute sometimes makes you more focused though? well, it does with me. i did my dissertation in art college in the space of a couple of days and finished it a matter of HOURS before it had to be handed in. ironically i got a higher mark for that than the rest of the year's work. . .

*shrug*

i've been doing good, thanks - easter went with my girlfriend to stockholm for five days which was fab. were meant to go at christmas but the snow jiggered that up frown

then i helped her MOVE from glasgow to edinburgh. we've been commuting back and forth for the last year (one year anniversary this sunday) and even before that, and just got to a point where we both said 'yeah, enough of this' - so we're really close now, and that's fab. life's good smile

and pancakes are all the better when your other half brings them to you in BED and THEN you snuggle and go back to sleep. . . ahhh smile

gotta go vote - hope you're doing alright smile

Today I went out and bought myself one of those "teach-yourself-Japanese" books. I've been saying that I would for ages (a good few years now) but never actually get around to it. Everyone's been telling me that life ends after uni so I'm sodding determined to do something next year that's tangible and rewarding.

Life's too fucking short.

Obligatory Bridget Jones watching time with mum ^_^

"I LOVE YOU FOR GOD'S SAKE!"
"Alright, no need to shout."

It's a guilty indulgence, what can I say?

What crap will you guys be watching with your families this Christmas?

weston:
Yea, American football does. Think it is probably because Christmas is so late in the week...There was enough rest/recovery time between the last game and Christmas day, plus it is a money making league, so they probably thought, why not schedule a game on a major holiday when everyone will be home watching? shocked
memorandom:
god, if they were worried about you hitching a little they'll flip at the idea of youi going abroad for a year. . . tongue

what a great experience that'd be, though, and you've got to look at it that way. opportunities are there to be grabbed, and you never hear of people who volunteered abroad saying 'oh, i didn't enjoy it, i wish i hadn't done it'. . . right?

anyway. much hilarity is already ensuing. we are. . . spending christmas at my MUM'S, adn she's pretty much making a big fuss over us both - so it's not TOO bad, and we're kind of plotting STILL going, even for a long weekend between now and easter so. . . .

ah well, i'm rambling - hope you have a good christmas- take care! kiss
