In one massive swoop, things went from going very wrong to pretty good
First there was the Passport Problem. Little bit of me leaving it a week too late, little bit of it being very, very busy at this time of year but it looked as if I wasn't going to get my new passport in time for my holiday. They got all confused about my name having a hyphen/not having a hyphen (I have a double barrelled first name which wasn't on my child's passport) and were going to delay it further. Mum to the stellar rescue. I told her how stressed I was about exams and she sorted it all out over the phone with the person who had my passport directly. It's getting sent out today. Yays! Legend mum also said that she's got about 50 Euros left from her trip to Greece (the joys of universal currency) and she got me some new flip flops and bits for my trip One less worry.
Less stressed about my exams now. I'm so damn glad that I did half coursework assessed. Two topics instead of five. Weight off of mind. Not long now. Field studies on Monday where I just rant about ethics on research and reflexivity and then I'm done. Yippee!
Also, I got an e-mail from someone I scribbled out of my life a long time ago. Not sure where that's going to go. It's been nearly five years since we last really spoke so we might not get along as we did before but whatever, we'll see how it goes!
In other news, the Peace Festival is on this weekend. A load of exciting stalls will descend upon the town and we can all have mendhi tattoos and buy pretty dresses and trinkets. It's as close to Stardust's Wall faerie market as I'm ever going to get so damnit, I will go out even if it kills me! Can't wait!

We had dinner and a movie and she fell asleep on me.
I'm extremely exciting company.
