there was a time when i was tricked into taking a number of shots of rum early in the afternoon. i was sitting at a kitchen table with a girl who had also fallen for the same trick. she took my hand and turned it palm up and told me that she was going to read my palm. i waited a moment for her to start, and then she told me i had to ask a question first. so i asked "am i on the right track?"

she examined my palm and then said, "yes."

then she looped a string twice around my left wrist and tied it. she said that was so i would remember i was on the right track.

so the string is still there, and clearly i am constantly on the right track.

there are signs everywhere. what track are you on?
