my boyfriend....er... my former boyfriend/friend, the father of my child is leaving in about a week to Africa. We don't know when he can come back. When he comes back, he won't be my boyfriend anymore.

Nothing personal. He just doesn't love me. He thinks of me as a really really close friend..... who he has sex with occasionally (???) I'm not mad. I can't be mad at him for not being in love with me. I'm not even really hurt because i knew the whole time, it was never a secret. He never told me he loved me. I'm just very sad. I will miss him. I'll be very sad when he comes back and we're no longer together. He knows and is being sympathetic. He's a nice guy... just.....doesn't love me.

An odd thing to try and cope with.
