I called my mom to borrow her blender and she told me that her uncle died. She is very upset. He was the oldest living POW in the US. He lived in the Old Soldiers Home in D.C. I think that they will bury him in Arlington.

I wish that I could have talked to him about his time in the Army. We never have the time we think that we have.
