I am starting to get the hang of algebra...famous last words huh?
All I want for Christmas is a C in algebra!
Bright, sunny, warm and gorgeous outside today...which is a good thing. It has been raining the last week or so. It washed out the road farther south from us. DOT closed the road. Good thing all our shopping this weekend was north in Fairbanks.
We bought "The Hills have Eyes"...I didn't know it was a remake of a 70's movie. It was pretty good, I actually liked the fact that there were actors in it hat weren't mega famous. We bought a crap load of other movies too...we don't have TV here so we watch movies. I should say we don't have TV channels. I hate to pay to install cable or satellite and pay $80 a month or more to flip through 100-200 channels and then sigh "There is nothing on". So we use that $80 a month and buy movies. We buy the ones we want and for our investment we can watch them whenever we want and what we want. Arcticminx of course likes the chick flicks and a few actions ones. I, and my youngest, are more car chase and horror movie types.
Yup only one kid left at home, she has two more years and then she too is off to get out on her own.
The middle girl is half way through basic training this week, in fact she is headed to Warrior Week this week. She called yesterday and is a little nervous, actually she is a lot nervous but she is being brave. She said it is a lot harder than she thought it would be, but she is making it.
Here are some photos of arcticminx while we were out four wheeling a coupel weekends ago.
