I love that my options are "not looking" and "on the market;" these phrases imply blindness and consumerism, alternately. So what am I really after? I need to come up with some more phrases.
Instead of "not looking," try:
-all holes filled
-this service is temporarily unavailable
-I was seeing someone but then they broke up with me and, I dunno, we're sort of back together but maybe not, because I've been seeing other people and I think they probably are, too, even though we haven't actually talked about it, but we started sleeping together again at the end of May and meanwhile I have a crush on this chick at work
-have enough problems without taking on yours
Instead of "on the market," try:
-*abdomen flashing*
-I have candy. And a bike. In my basement. For you. Now get in the car.
-let me tell you about my family, my ex and my history of depression
-so, uh, why haven't you been returning my calls?

Today has just been a pain in the ass.
I sense she is wary about getting her heart too wrapped up into this...and what doesn't help is that I am car-less at the moment and must rely on her to come pick me up if we're going to get together.
What also doesn't help is the fact that she lives 50 miles west.
Regarding the allegations...I'm just going to have to state my case, and apparently the hold on my transcript will go away once I make an apology and sign some paperwork.
This is just so fucking unnecessary, though. It just grew out of a very large misunderstanding that was blown far too much out of proportion. I actually apologized immediately afterwards for words said that she took out of context.
But I suppose I'll have to do it again, this time on the record.
