So much has happened lately, both public and private.

I randomly think that I lead such a peaceful, boring life. Then my rational thoughts smack some sense into me and I realize how very wrong I am.

I should have left the country during my vacation.

bah. what a waste of a night. 12 damn tables and thank god they let me go early. everyone is broke from the holidays and January is going to be slow to the end.

Now last night(Tuesday)...that was incredible. Everyone was in a great mood and all the customers were fun as hell -didn't even feel like work! Helped me forget about everything else there...

sweet heaven's kisses...the holidays are over.

back from.........the dead? not quite. However, odd coincidence: in the space of only two weeks four deaths have occurred semi-near me: 2 women I knew and 2 cats I knew. 1 woman and 1 cat went peacefully, 1 woman and 1 cat went violently. just kinda odd. Ok, that does make more sense then. It just seemed like an odd time to go out buying something like a vaccuum cleaner. Groceries, sure, I did that a lot when I was in college (I swear 2am is the best time to hit Wal-Mart!). The vaccuum thing just threw me a bit.

When I lived in a big city, it was great to be able to go grocery shopping at three in the morning. So few people. Very relaxing.

Back to work tomorrow night, back on the floor. I've been reading a waitress' memoir and while interesting so far, I think I could write a better one. There have been some revelatory points in it though. Its such a strange community of people, a world like no other.

I always love reading about customers from hell.

And I loved that character in the movie. She was pretty hot, both physically and in attitude.
