i'm a nervous wreck from the home stuff.
I don't know when I won't be.

We might sell our unit, we might rent it... who knows. I am going to miss it. Thinking about moving and leaving it behind makes my heart sink and I get close to tears.

things are just so different than they were before I won't even bother updating about it.

I've been doing a lot of figure drawing, which I love. My favorite instructor is letting me sit in on his classes, which is nice. I really forgot how much I love being in school and joking with him. I also like to be around talent. It makes me...

I don't think I need to say that I'm beyond relieved with the result of the election.

except prop 8.... for some reason, the part of Oakland directly in front of my house was the crazy hot bed of 'yes on 8' people, and I wanted to run them over. They even attacked some people. What really gets me is the funding coming from out...

I'll say. 52% votes for prop 8?? Are you fucking kidding me?? I'm so disappointed with that percentage of California. Someone tried to reason with me that the same voters that voted for Obama were the ones who were against gay marriage... wtf?
munchies187:
Agreed, my ex was raised LDS, although she didn't practice. I have to say they do have good family values and I did learn a lot from her family.

that's one of my biggest gripes with religous people. if you want to believe in god, i'm cool with that. but i'm not ok with people using it as a way to tsk tsk others into passing bullshit laws. and on top of that, picking certain things out of the bible to follow/distort, but ignoring the rest. -this is the only time i wish i had been raised religous, so i could bust out with the scipture.

I'm sorry, this is such a ridiculously adorable picture. I want to live in a treehouse and have tea/coffee with a human/squirrel friend. tongue

too cute! have you seen the japanese silk screening/printer thingie? for the life of my i can't think of the name. but i'm willing to bet you have one!

i'm also looking into (but not really being proactive about it) reducing (not eliminating) the amount of wheat i consume. giving up dairy really made me feel better, so i'm curious what other known allergens/troublemakers are doing to my body. but don't get me wrong, i miss blue cheese every single day.

even if the markup is insane, i'd like to just hang out in the muji times square store. i'm still very envious that you get to go back so often. but is there really ever often enough? NO.
thepromdate:
i knew you would have it! i've seen the demo on paper source. they look so rad.

yeah...i don't know if i would be able to contain myself in the muji store. we should start a muji thread and get people to go in on filling a cargo bin. tongue

god bless the japanese.
