I made a hippo in November of 2005
it almost killed me. it was a very bad time. I was in a lot of bad places.
my life is happy now. I have someone I appreciate who appreciates me. I don't know if I can ever make you understand the magnitude of the situation. it's good. things are good.
I am almost completely done with school. school is a lot of work, but I almost never do the work, but I get straight As anyway.
I really want some carrot cake right now. with walnuts and pineapples. I want to have a job again. I want to be able to create something colorful and unassigned, not a smirking grey hippo that almost kills me when everything's dead. I want paint and plastic and enamel and acrylic and musical montages and a book bound in orange. and I want a cat to appear at our doorstep (our doorstep. I still can't believe I live this gorgeous life) and make our home its home and eat our tuna and drink our milk and to be something warm between us.
it's barely been above zero on two weeks, but today it was in the twenties and I was so hot I could barely wear a coat. I rolled the passenger side window down and flexed my fingers in the wind and sun of Snelling. I like where I am now.
but I don't like to update this thing.

With all the shit I had/have to do this week, I would very much rather have gotten VD instead...
