just to get you all up to speed on the post-trip happenings:
1. my car saw through all the bullshit of the $1500 repairs we did a couple months ago and is again doing the quasi-overheating thing it did before. I'm too angry/tired/busy to do anything about it until it starts to explode.
2. the new semester has been fantastically annoying, due in large part to the proliferation of idiots in my classes. yay! also, I have to do volunteer work at some sexual health place or another and I quite simply do not have TIME. already I am the very definition of stressball. which, yeah, is an actual medical term.
3. the Coke in America sucks.
4. the McDonald's french fries in America, though flavored with beef-o-rama, are much better than the fries in Ireland.
5. I miss having potatoes at every meal.
6. I miss a lot of shit about that month though, like the color green, and rain, and not having to drive or go to work, and drinking with professors.
7. I dropped $300 on an mp3 player that is rather incapable of basic function. many many thanks to its translated-from-Korean-into-ancient-Greek-into-ASL-into-English-into-Korean-again-for-some-reason-and-back-into-English-again-finally support site.
8. I spent the whole day today serving as a scorekeeper at a college bowl tournament and it was boring and made me mad. my team is going on to nationals simply because we hosted the tournament, but we clearly would not have made it if we had actually been playing. we SUCK. and the national tournament is going to be TELEVISED. and it's hilarious, and it also makes me mad.
9. but what doesn't. except strawberry ice cream and KITTIES.
10. you missed a lot of fun shit while I was gone, actually. HAW-HAW. there's no point to this. I'm sorry. goodnight.
