I'm procrastinating again. Here are some things:
* Tomorrow I have a cool zine club to go to in the afternoon (organized by my friend Candace) and band practice in the evening.
* Also tomorrow night there is a Johnny Cash tribute band playing at my local dive bar. Hooray!
* I got a lotta homework to do tonight and Sunday.
* I bought instant miso soup at the grocery store last night... surprisingly good substiute for the stuff you get a sushi restaurants.
* My bf turns 28 tomorrow, but he's away for work-related reasons until late tomorrow night. I gave the gift of cash, because he wanted $$ to buy a pocket PC.
* Next weekend is a four-day weekend for me. I will use this time to compose my letter of intent for the graduate school admissions people at fabulous Concordia U. Yes. Yes I will.
* On Monday at 3:00 I have a "degree audit" to see if I can actually graduate or not. The only problem I'm expecting is that I may have too many sociology credits (you're not allowed to have more than 60 in one discipline). However, if this is the case, I may be able to get around it b/c a lot of the sociology courses I took were cross-listed with other faculties (eg: criminology, gender studies, etc.).
I think that's it. Hope you're all well.

Cross listed classes rock, as does Johnny Cash and dive bars.

I was listening to Johnny Cash when I read your journal. Funny. So are you stoked on Concordia U? Is Vancouver still a possiblity? Enjoy your busy extended weekend.
