Crap on the wall above my desk:
Not pictured: another cartoon from Toothpaste for Dinner that says "message boards were created in 1974 by a man who saw that the settings of school and home did not provide adequate opportunities for adolescents to argue with one another"; an excerpt from a graphic novel by Daniel Clowes that shows a woman saying "When I look at all these stars, it's hard for me to believe that I'm really the center of the universe."
I start work at the mall tomorrow, from 1pm to 9pm. Working is for suckers.
On Thursday night I'm going to see Naomi Klein speak at my uni. I will not pester her with demands to know how she got her job. How does one get a column with the Globe and Mail anyway?
Vote on the next random photo of the day! Your choices are:
1. The kiosk where I now work
2. My laundry basket
3. The plants that live in my room

There's been tons of voter turnout, but that's no fucking excuse for the way they've handled this. It's scary. We all KNOW there are going to be problems tomorrow, it's past even thinking and worrying.
