One of the quiet luxuries of being unemployed is that it affords you the capacity to be in a good mood on Monday mornings... it's 11:00am, I'm drinking my coffee, Dawson's Creek is on TV on mute, I'm listening to the Breeders and the JSBX really fucking loud, and working on my distro. Life is good. I'm getting advertising rates from local indie rags who seem really keen to act as sponsors for my launch party... I'm finding web hosting and custom stationary is a lot cheaper than I expected... now if only I had the $10k of start-up cash I need, I'd be in business. Literally.
Oh, and my Starbucks interview got bumped to tomorrow. I also made a new friend who leads me to believe it may not be such a shitty job after all.
What was the last album you bought?

Since I work nights I get to have days like that. I just miss having them alone. I tend to need alot of alone time. Mostly I like playing music when Im alone and watching a skate video and fixing or cleaning something at the same time. I enjoy not having to be concerned or distracted by anyone else. It's actually the time I can get the most done or have the best thoughts. So, the last album I bought was I think Poison Idea. I've sold almost all of my music. When Im not broke again Im gonna start rebuilding my collection, only Im gonna have it in vinyl and on the computer. No CD's. I'll burn mixes. I look forward to that day.
