"News":
On Thursday I saw veteran Canadian pop-punk rockers Chixdiggit at my local Elk's Club. Seriously. They kicked my ass, they rocked so hard. They played all my favourites, including "Henry Rollins is No Fun", "I Wanna Hump You" and "Shadowy Bangers from a Shadowy Duplex". They also have a new bass player named Mike who is, like, 22 years old. He is teh hawtness, although you cannot really tell from this photo from their website:
On Friday most of my day was consumed by going to the dentist to have two fillings done. They had to freeze my mouth three times, so it took fucking forevah to regain the feeling in the right side of my face, so I couldn't go drinking last night... lest I wander around the bar drooling uncontrollably...
Who was the last band you saw live who kicked your ass with their unstoppable power of rock?
Edit: slightly more cheerful-looking profile pic. Go me!

last band: the Distillers. I left feeling drenched with sweat, utterly worn out, and rocked from head to toe. Brody is a goddess.
