So here's what's new in my life:
-- The crazy perfect girl mentioned in my last journal is moving in at the end of the month. She's coming by later today to pick up a key so she can start bringing her shit in. I was saying to approachingtheta that I suspect that she may be a robot like the ones in the Stepford Wives. Of course, the good news is that she'll probably do a lot of the cleaning around here, which is always good because I'm sick of preteneding I'm not lazy when it comes to that sort of thing.
-- Although the great roommate search is over, the great job hunt continues. I'm going over to my last job later this morning to pick up my official Record of Employment so I can see about getting EI, but I don't think I qualify. There's been absolutely nothing of interest (read: not service industry, not being a maid) in the want ads for at least a month so I've resorted to sending resumes to random businesses. I did find one office jop yesterday that I'm going to apply for but I don't think I'll get it because they want someone with 5 years experience. I am convinced that "entry level positions" are a myth.
-- My bf had to go to the butt-doctor yesterday to find out what's wrong with his ass. They can't tell, so he has to go back in a few weeks and get a butt x-ray to make sure it's not cancer of the ass. Oh my.
-- The Pixies have added two more shows to their itinerary in Quebec. I really wish I lived closer so I could get tickets without having to buy them from a scalper on Ebay... I guess that first show in Montreal will have to do... but seeing as I'm going all the way up there anyway, it would be nice to catch the second show in Montreal and the one in Hull. Oh well.

a funny thing. i met this guy from Alberta in NL and he would borrow all my tv shows on file like simpsons and stuff. he'd never seen daria and he watched some 30 episodes in like a week. daria is a timeless classic. it's really some kind of therapy.
