1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Played some rock shows in my fabulous cover band. Sang in front of rooms full of drunk people on three separate occasions and they didn't even throw anything.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No I did not keep them. I expect to make more with similar results.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No but four friends who I don't see much anymore fathered some babies. One each.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Day trips to the USA to purchase gasoline, cigarettes, and AC/DC pyjama pants do not count.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A life with which I am madly in love, and possibly a bass amp. Neither are going to happen any time soon.
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
None. This year was kind of a blur, actually.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating from university the first time, I suppose.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not getting into graduate school; taking a job I hate as an alternative to living in the woods with my parents.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
The odd hangover, that's about it.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Probably those North Face winter boots I bought last January. They're nice about now, even if they wear like hockey skates.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
K for smartening the fuck up and J for taking surprisingly it well.

My own.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Fun stuff like food and shelter. The odd pack of cigarettes. Those are really fun.

The prospect of getting the fuck out of here and living somewhere I really like; M giving me the green light to write a sex column for his webzine in the mean time.
