Oh, and I moved up to Napa Valley, so I'm no longer a full-time SF dweller. It's so relaxing up here compared to South of Market and my 3 warehouse roommates.

I totally got taken in by the Howard Stern hoax on April Fools Day. I was PISSED! Our freedoms are being encroached upon from every angle and that nearly caused me to snap. I was ranting about it all day, then read the news and realized the date.

DUH! I felt like an idiot, but at least it was justified, right?

Let me just say this:
San Francisco kicks ass!
I wasn't all that excited about Gavin Newsom during the elections--I was a bit more toward Matt Gonzalez--but Newsome is sticking to his guns and GOOD for him!
I went out to the courthouse a couple days ago and the conservative right-wing shit going on there made me SICK!

I suggested Sunday merely because it is one of my only days off.

But now I can only go out if I find transportation. My truck is in the shop this weekend cos my clutch blew on Friday.

I could take Caltrain or something, but it may be easier to just plan for next weekend.

Back in school, again.

Ok,
so I'm back after almost 2 months of MIA. What's new around here?

It's nice to see the website is functioning a bit cleaner now.

Oh, I discovered this today, and thought Id mention it to you, it sums up Finnish psy-trance quite nicely. And to my infinite happiness I also discovered that this party is something Im not going to miss- yay, new Haltya!! *happy happy fox*

My premier is January 23rd- todays still holiday for me but tomorrow morning Im going to start painting the set and aaaargh, theres so much to do it makes me insane. Im hoping to get a camera sometime soon, or maybe Ill just have to buy more dia film and photograph anyway (you know Ive had this dream of a digi cam of my own so that I wont always have to borrow others ), digi or not.

But if I manage to finish it in time, I think it just might look quite nice after all. wink Well see.

Party went off, thank god, but lost a housemate in the process.

He (28) wanted badly to take my friends 17 year old sister to bed with him. Stupid fucker. Not on my watch.
Had a "problem" with me telling him to lay off. I was "infringing on his rights"

Tomorrow night is a party for my sorta-girlfriend, DesNeiges.
Sorta, because we dated for a long time, broke up in April, and have started seeing each other again.

It was really helpful. Now Im thinking rubber balls all the time! Ive decided to use the projectors a whole lot, probably colour slides to be on the safe side, so as to have as little decorations and constructions for the singers and dancers to trip over, as possible. smile Well see how it turns out....Ill keep you informed. smile

Oh, and over here the health shops at least sell proper yerba mat....try those.

actually, yes i feel primitive often...but...in cities. particularly cities with history. the first time i was in SF is the best example i can think of because i felt this strange rhythm to the land...because i could feel the history i knew there'd be a future too, that changes as much as history changed sf. so, not really an act, but a situation. and i'm guessing not quite the sorta situation you meant, but. meow.
